Phanuel Muverengwi, the renowned Zimbabwean writer, was born in 1968 in Chimowa Village, Chikomba District, Zimbabwe.
He attended Chimowa Primary School in his home village, Dudzai Primary School in Chitungwiza, Chimowa Secondary School (‘O’ Level) again in his home village, and Zengeza No. 1 High School in Chitungwiza (‘A’ Level). In 1991 Phanuel graduated from the University of Zimbabwe with a Bsc. Econ. (Hon.) degree, after which he secured employment in the Public Service.
In 1992 Phanuel Muverengwi was arrested by God, and since then his life has never been the same.
After getting some encouragement from a friend, Firimon Mvarume, Phanuel wrote his first book in 2004. The book went on to become a favourite with readers.
Given below are some of the titles by the Zimbabwean writer:
• HOW TO MAXIMISE THE VALUE OF YOUR LIFE • NDINGAITEI KUTI NDIBUDIRIRE SEVAMWE?
Phanuel's goal is to become a full time writer, so as to effectively contribute to the wonderful works being produced by the other writers in Zimbabwe. He believes that for this he was born. He says: “It seems to me that it is easier to proceed with writing than to quit,” adding, “I can only run out of time; never out of ideas, for God is my source.”
